One good way of attracting members is offering them things.

So we need to think of an idea to make our gaming forum unique compared to others. I was thinking of doing a commercial about our new forum using Sim characters. I'm sure that would attract some people.

So go ahead, brainstorm about ideas we can use.

We could also make some Halo VGMVs to advertise. That seems to be pretty popular on the Youtube.

Okay, maybe not.

A main focus would be games, obviously. I would probably suggest an overhaul BEFORE we tried to get new members, as we could tell them what we have to offer. How about "D-Pads and Discussions". That has it's gaming connotations and a 'general chat site' feel to it, too.

Would changing the URL mean we would have to make a new forum? If so, I would try to think of a new way first.

But what 'new' or 'catchy' ideas are we thinking of making (and by 'we', I mean others other than me, because I am lazy, and have nothing useful to add besides advice)?

Technically, we don't need to create a new forum to change the URL. We could email the head admin of mff.org forums for a free name change. BUT, this forum is already a target for spam bots. They're not really much of a bother, but still a nuissance.

I like Joystick Jungle so far.

PS - Alright guys, next week is exam week for me. So I have to restrain myself from the internet and perhaps the computer for the whole week or so.

I may be gone, but that doesn't mean you guys should too. When I return I expect a full report about this on my desk, Sapp! Haha.
