FOR THE RECORD: This is exclusive to The General Forum at the moment. I will not post this on Neoseeker until Monday.
Please feel free to comment though!
Week 2
Pyro goes off as there are thousands of fans in attendance for another sold-out Monday Night Raw.
Michael Cole: Welcome, everybody, to Monday Night Raw! Jerry "The King" Lawler and
I are calling every match tonight! King, why don't you tell these great fans what they'll be looking
forward to watching tonight.
King: You got it, Cole! Tonight, John Cena will make a match for World Heavyweight
Champion, Chris Jericho in what we all know as "Pick Your Poison!" Next week, Jericho will
be able to pick Cena's poison. Also, tonight, the Intercontinetal Championship will be on the line
as defending champion, Matt Hardy will defend his gold against John "Bradshaw" Layfield!
Michael Cole: I have the feeling that tonight's Raw will be a blockbuster! But right now,
let's hear what our General Manager, Theodore Long has to say.
Segment 1
Theodore Long was in the middle of the ring, about to speak.
Teddy: Last week on Monday Night Raw, we all witnessed a dirty
act on behalf of one of the superstars. I'm referring to Randy Orton. Orton seemingly healed
completely a while back, but kept it a secret to everyone else. Orton tricked us all, and I believe
he upset The Animal, Batista the most!
Teddy paused after that, then a recap video aired from last week, showing Randy Orton
screwing Batista out of his No.1 Contender match with John Cena.
Teddy: It's because of that, I granted Batista's request to face
Randy Orton at Armageddon!
The crowd cheered Teddy for his announcement. Suddenly, Randy Orton's entrance music hit.
Randy made his way to the ring to confront Teddy Long.
Orton: You think I was lying?! I was still injured last week, but I got
a call from my doctor in which he informed me I was cleared to compete that very night! You don't
believe in miracles, Teddy?
Teddy: Oh, I believe in miracles alright, Playa....But you're STILL
facing Batista at Armageddon!
The crowd cheered rapidly, while Orton glared at Teddy.
Teddy: Although, Orton, how would you like for a miracle to
happen tonight? Meaning, how would you like to have a title shot on your first match back?
Orton: Oh, I love that idea! Which title?
Teddy: Seeing how the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho
is already scheduled to compete tonight, you can't face him. Also, the Intercontinetal Champ, Matt
Hardy is defending his title tonight against JBL. So I guess the only title shot you can really get
tonight is against Kane! For the Hardcore Championship!
Orton: Are you trying to get my career ended?! This is my first match
back!
Teddy: This IS your first match back, and also the first match of the
night. Your title shot happens.....Now.
Kane's entrance music burst out as the Hardcore Champion made his way to the ring. Orton
wasn't even dressed to compete.
Match 1 - Kane (c) vs. Randy Orton - Hardcore Championship
Orton rushed up to Kane and punched him in the face a couple times, but Kane retaliated by
punching Orton back, knocking The Legend Killer down. Kane then picked Orton up, but was raked
in the eyes by Orton right afterwards. Orton then knocked Kane back to the edge of the ropes
with a drop kick. Afterwards, Orton ran up to Kane and clotheslined him over the top rope and out
of the ring. Orton got a steel chair out afterwards, and slammed the chair across Kane's back.
Orton then picked up Kane, and threw him back into the ring. Orton grabbed the steel chair and
got back into the ring, then attempted to hit Kane with it again, but Kane knocked Orton down with
a big boot to the face before being hit. Kane then picked Orton up, and dropped him with the Sidewalk
Slam. Afterwards, Kane waited for Orton to stand back up so he could give him a Chokeslam.
However, before Orton stood up, Elijah Burke ran in the ring and started attacking Kane. Soon
afterwards, Orton got back up and started helping Burke jump Kane. Orton set Kane up to the
turnbuckle, and Elijah Burke delivered the "Elijah Express" on Kane afterwards. Then, Orton
laid Kane out with the RKO. Before any more damage could be done to the Big Red Machine,
Batista rushed to the ring to Kane's aid. Orton and Burke both escaped the ring as soon as
Batista entered. Kane then rose back to his feet. Even though Orton didn't capture the Hardcore
Title, him and Burke left the ring with smiles on their faces.
Michael Cole: Thank God for Batista! Who knows what would have
happened to Kane if he didn't arrive.
King: I know what would have happened, Orton would be the new
Hardcore Champion, but NO, Batista had to come out and ruin that for him out of jealousy!
Michael Cole: The Animal wasn't jealous, he was only evening
the odds. That match would have been settled down the middle if Elijah Burke didn't show up.
Raw went to a commercial break.
Segment 2
Cryme Tyme was backstage playing cards, then Charlie Haas walked up to them.
Haas: Oh SNIZZAP! What y'all be playin', "homies?"
JTG and Shad looked at Haas with concern, then looked back at each other, trying to
hold back laughter.
Haas: Check this out, "dawgs." I wanted to apologize to you,
JTG, for the way I eliminated you in that Battle Royal last week. I was just too impatient
and wanted to win, so I did what I had to do. Even if I wouldn't have kicked you in the groin,
though, I would have still eliminated you. Haha! We're cool though, right? Put it there, "homie."
Haas extended his right hand to JTG, but JTG just looked at Shad and nodded at him. Cryme
Tyme then attacked Charlie Haas and laid him out cold, then stole his wallet.
Cryme Tyme: We be makin' that MONEY MONEY, YEAH YEAH!
That MONEY MONEY, YEAH YEAH!
Michael Cole: That....Was rather interesting...
King: YEAH YEAH!
The World Tag Team Champions, John Morrison and The Miz were seen walking backstage,
headed toward the arena. Raw then went to a commercial break.
When Raw came back on the air, John Morrison's entrance music hit, as he and Miz made
their way to the ring, receiving heat from the crowd. A video recap then played showing Miz
and Morrison attacking Rey Mysterio after his match with The Miz.
Michael Cole: I hope those two were proud of themselves after last
week.
King: I hope so too! They're the Tag Champs, they can do what
they want, they run the Tag Team Division here.
Michael Cole: That's not an excuse.
Kofi Kingston's music hit, and The Jamaican Sensation made his way to the ring, getting a
huge pop from the fans.
Michael Cole: Now this is the real deal. Jamaican me crazy, Kofi!
Hey, Kofi! JAMAICAN ME CRAZY!!!
King: Jeez...Shout a little louder, I don't think he heard you...
Match 2 - Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison with The Miz
As the starting bell rang, both Morrison and Kingston locked up. Morrison kneed Kofi in the
gut, and ran toward the ropes. Morrison then ran back to Kofi, attempting a clothesline, but to
no avail, Kofi drop-kicked Morrison as he was running back. Kofi then performed his signature
taunt, and executed the "Soul Shakedown" on Morrison afterwards. Kofi went for the cover: "1, 2 --"
Morrison kicked out. Kofi then picked up Morrison, and attempted a front suplex, but Morrison
reversed it by landing on both feet right behind Kofi, and gave Kofi a neck-breaker right afterwards.
While Kofi was still lying on the mat, Morrison nailed him with the Shooting Star Splash, and went
for the cover: "1, 2--" Kofi kicked out. Afterwards, Morrison attempted to pick Kofi back up, but Kofi
battled back by punching Morrison in the gut a few times. Morrison tried to counter by swinging
his arm at Kofi, but instead Kofi ducked and nailed Morrison with an enzugiri. After Kofi started dominating the match, The Miz got onto the apron behind the ropes to distract the referee. Kofi
drifted his attention away from Morrison, then set his sight on Miz. Kofi ran up to Miz, and punched
him off of the apron. When Kofi turned back around, Morrison was right behind him. Morrison
then kicked Kofi in the gut, and put him out with "The Moonlight Drive" afterwards, and went for
the cover: "1, 2, 3!"
Michael Cole: I can't believe it! How could the ref actually let
Morrison win after Miz's interference?!
King: The Miz didn't get involved in the match! He just felt like
standing on the apron, and Kofi felt like being rude and knocking him down! That's karma for
you, Kofi deserved that loss to The 'Monday' Night Delight!
Segment 3
As if to reenact the scene from last week, Morrison and Miz started to jump Kofi after the match.
Morrison and Miz repeatedly stomped Kofi while he was lying on the mat. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio
rushed to the ring to clean house. Rey started fighting Miz, while Kofi battled it out with Morrison.
Afterwards, Rey and Kofi were able to get the upperhand, then tossed the World Tag Team Champions outside the ring. Kofi smiled at Rey in gratitude for assisting him, then looked over to Miz and Morrison who were making their way up the stage ramp. Kofi then rubbed his hands against his waist gesturing at a tag team title shot.
Michael Cole: Rey and Kofi! Are we possibly looking at Miz and
Morrison's next title contenders?
King: Kofi and Rey would make a great tag team! After all, look at
the things they have in common...They both got pummeled by the champs!
Raw went to commercial break.
Segment 4
John Cena was seen backstage with Co-General Manager, Armando Estrada. Estrada was
getting ready to interview Cena.
Estrada: Yawn Cena, deh question on everyone's mind tonight...
Is joo did Yawn Cena choose as "Y2J" Chris Jericho's poison opponent tonight?
Cena: Ah, the question of questions! Tonight, nobody could stop
thinking about my match stipulations for the World Champ. Well, let me give "joo" all my highly
anticipated answer: The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. There's no one on this roster I'd trust
more than to take this match than that man! HBK has wanted to put his hands on the champ
for a while now, so I thought I'd be fair and cut him a slice of cake before I ate the whole thing!
Estrada: Joo heard it here, everyone! World Heavyweight Champion,
Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels, tonight! Any more comments, Yawn Cena?
Cena: This will be one of those matches you can't miss for the
world. So call your grandma and tell her to call your cousin, have your cousin call your uncle, then
have your uncle call your sister, then have her call your girlfriend who's sleeping with your best
friend and tell her that it's HBK vs. Y2J TONIGHT!!!
Suddenly, Chris Jericho walked up to John Cena and Armando Estrada.
Y2J: You actually think that you're "punishing" me by choosing Shawn
Michaels as my opponent tonight? May I remind you that the reason that "Hasbeen Kid" holds
a grudge against me is because I destroyed him several months back! I know you probably don't
remember that, since during that time period you were too busy jobbing to Triple H trying to
get the WWE Title, which you could never do! And believe me when I say this; history will
repeat itself when you challenge me for this title!
Chris Jericho then started to walk away, but suddenly walked back to Cena and Estrada.
Y2J: One other thing...You're 'trying' to punish me by putting me up
against Shawn Michaels, even though that plan is gonna backfire on you. Anyways, I thought I'd
return this punishment favor of yours...Next week on Raw, Cena, you're going to face The Undertaker!
Jericho left to get prepared for his match. Cena looked a bit discontent at Jericho's choice, but
wouldn't back down for anything.
A moment later, Matt Hardy was seen backstage making his way to the arena.
King: Did you hear that?! John Cena vs. The Undertaker next week!
Michael Cole: That will certainly be a blockbuster match! However,
we have another blockbuster match, but this one is coming up next! Matt Hardy defends the
Intercontinetal Championship against John "Bradshaw" Layfield!
Raw went to commercial break.
As Raw came back on the air, Matt Hardy's entrance music burst out. Hardy received a huge pop
from the fans as he made his way down to the arena.
Michael Cole: It's been a great honor having Matt here on Raw, representing
as the Intercontinetal Champion! I wish him luck in this title defense.
King: *Sniffs* What's that I smell? Could it be bias?
Michael Cole: That wasn't meant to be bias, King. I was only stating
the common fact. Matt's been a great champion here on Raw!
Suddenly, JBL's entrance hit the arena. JBL made his way to the ring while receiving heat from
the fans.
Match 3 - Intercontinetal Championship - Matt Hardy (c) vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
As soon as the starting bell rang, JBL ran to Hardy and knocked him down with a shoulder block.
JBL then stomped Hardy with his boot a couple times, then started to choke him with it. The referee
called for JBL to let go of Hardy afterwards. JBL stopped, then picked up Hardy, and tossed him back
with a reverse body-slam. JBL then went for the pin-fall: "1, 2--" Hardy kicked out! JBL, frustrated, picked
Hardy up and Irish Whipped him to the turnbuckle. JBL then attempted a running boot to the face, but
Hardy moved out of the way just in time, and JBL's leg was caught on the top rope. Hardy took advantage
of the situation by giving JBL a neck breaker from there. Hardy taunted to the fans as he was now
building up some momentum. Hardy then picked up JBL and set him up in the corner on the
turnbuckle, giving JBL a running Bulldog afterwards. Hardy felt the match shifting over to his side, then
climbed to the top rope to attempt a leg-drop. JBL moved out of the way just as Hardy was coming
down. Afterwards, JBL and Hardy both got back on their feet. JBL ran toward Hardy attempting the
"Clothesline from Hell", but Hardy ducked, then nailed JBL with the "Side Effect" afterwards. Hardy
went for the pin-fall cover: "1, 2, --" JBL kicked out! Hardy picked JBL up afterwards, but JBL pushed
Hardy back and attempted to clothesline him again. Hardy ducked again, but unfortunately the referee
was behind him and was nailed instead. JBL took advantage of knocking the referee out, and kicked
Hardy in the groin. JBL then went outside the ring and grabbed Matt's Intercontinetal Title belt, then
headed back inside the ring. JBL attempted to hit Hardy with the title belt, but Hardy ducked and
then gave JBL a back suplex, knocking the belt out of JBL's hands. Hardy then picked JBL up, and
laid him out with the "Twist of Fate." Hardy went for the pin-fall cover just as the referee was getting
up. The referee didn't count for the pin as he noticed the title belt lying in the ring. The referee accused
Matt Hardy of attacking JBL with the belt, then called for the disqualification bell.
Michael Cole: Is he serious?! I can't believe this!!!
Segment 5
The crowd booed the referee for disqualifying Matt Hardy, though Matt still held on to his title.
Matt looked as if he were going to give the referee a "Twist of Fate" but didn't. JBL ran outside
the ring and grabbed a microphone.
JBL: Tsk, tsk, Matt. We were having such a great match until you
had to sink so low to get yourself disqualified to retain the gold.
Michael Cole: Give me a break!
JBL: But the bottom line for you, Matt, is that I still won the match.
I'm entitled to a rematch clause! Matt Hardy, I want you at Armageddon for that Intercontinetal
Title....In a TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH!!!
Matt Hardy grabbed a microphone to respond to JBL.
Matt: Any place...Any time...I won't back down! HARDY WILL NOT
DIE!!! Challenge me all you want, JBL, but read my lips: You will NEVER get this title back from
me!
The crowd cheered rapidly for Hardy, as JBL was angered. JBL left the arena to go backstage
as Raw went to a commercial break.
As Raw came back on the air, a recap video played from last week showing Hardcore Holly beating
Shelton Benjamin. Suddenly, Shelton Benjamin's music hit as the Golden Gopher made his way to
the ring, receiving some heat from the crowd.
Michael Cole: The veteran, Hardcore Holly was able to put Shelton in
his place last week. The question is, will he do it again tonight?
King: You're kidding, right?! Shelton was unprepared for that sudden
match. Holly took advantage of that, thus gaining a fluke victory over The Gold Standard.
Before Cole could respond to King, Hardcore Holly's music hit. The veteran made his way to the
ring to face Shelton Benjamin.
Match 4 - Shelton Benjamin vs. Hardcore Holly
Shelton started out aggressive as he attacked Holly as soon as the starting bell rang. Shelton
kneed Holly in the gut, then added insult to injury by slapping him in the face. Holly retaliated by
slapping Shelton back, then slammed him down with a spine buster. Holly then started to pound
on Shelton's face, but The Gold Standard pulled Holly down, then started to pound Holly in the face.
Afterwards, Holly pushed Shelton off of him, then ran over to Shelton and knocked him down with
a shoulder block. Holly then ran back toward the ropes, then came back toward Shelton. Shelton
hopped over Holly as he was running toward him. Holly stopped then turned around toward Shelton,
only to get a super kick in the gut from him. Shelton then went for the pin: "1, 2--" Holly kicked out!
Shelton was frustrated that he didn't put Holly out, then started to pound on his face some more.
Afterwards, Shelton went to the turnbuckle, and removed the top pad from it. The referee didn't
see as he was tending to Holly. Shelton then picked Holly back up, but Holly punched Shelon
in the gut a few times, then gave him a front suplex. Afterwards, Holly picked Shelton up and
attempted to Irish Whip him to the same turnbuckle that Shelton exposed that pad from. Shelton
reversed the Irish Whip, and sent Holly to the corner instead, where his back slammed against
the exposed turnbuckle. Shelton then attempted a Stinger Splash on Holly, but Holly moved out
of the way right in time for Shelton to hit the exposed turnbuckle. Afterwards, Holly rolled up
Shelton for the pin: "1, 2, 3!" Holly won the match, and two-upped The Gold Standard!
Michael Cole: Hey, King! What was that about a fluke victory?
King: This is the second fluke victory in a row for Holly! He wouldn't
have won if Shelton didn't slam against that exposed turnbuckle!
Michael Cole: And whose fault is it for the turnbuckle being exposed
in the first place?
King: Pfft! Whatever...
Segment 6
Hardcore Holly was still celebrating in the ring, however Shelton attacked him after their match
showing sore sportsman-ship. Shelton kneed Holly in the face, then ran up to him and laid him out
with the "Paydirt." Shelton left the ring with a sadistic smile on his face, feeling that he slightly
redeemed himself. A moment later, Shawn Michaels was seen backstage preparing for his match
with Chris Jericho.
Michael Cole: Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho. Icon vs. Champion...
Next!
Raw went to a commercial break.
As Raw came back on the air, Shawn Michaels' entrance music burst out, as The Showstopper
made his way to the ring, receiving a massive pop from the crowd. When Michaels entered the
ring, a recap video from last week played, showing when HBK was attacked by The Undertaker.
Michael Cole: That was pretty shocking last week...It's not like The
Undertaker's style to do something like that!
King: Maybe not..But consider this; Shawn Michaels is Undertaker's
opponent at Armageddon. That's a No.1 Contender's match for The World Heavyweight Title!
Michael Cole: Good point...Never the less, I believe that only adds
more excitement to that rivalry. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are the only two superstars
in the WWE to have appeared on the first episode of Raw!
King: Thanks for the history lesson...But those were some great
memories!
Suddenly, Chris Jericho's entrance music hit, as the champ made his way to the ring. Jericho
got a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Michael Cole: The moment we've all been waiting for - Shawn Michaels
more than anyone - Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels!
Before Jericho entered the ring, Shawn Michaels dived outside of the ring onto Jericho, getting the
first attack. Shawn then threw Jericho in the ring so that the match could officially begin.
Main Event - Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho - Non Title
Jericho hardly got any offense in at the start of the match. Michaels pounded Jericho in the face
repeatedly for a moment, then picked Jericho up and gave him a front suplex. Afterwards, Michaels tried to put Jericho out quick by locking him in "The Sharpshooter." After a few moments of agony for Jericho, he finally reached the edge of the ropes and grabbed them so that Michaels would have to break the hold. After Michaels let go of Jericho, he dragged the champ over to the center of the ring to attempt "The Sharpshooter" again. This time, however, Jericho shoved Michaels off of him, by kicking him back, knocking Michaels down on the mat. Jericho quickly got up to take advantage
of Michaels lying down, as he suddenly locked The Heartbreak Kid in "The Walls of Jericho." Shawn
eventually crawled his way over to the ropes, grabbing them so that the hold would break. Jericho
was too aggressive and wouldn't let go at first, until the referee threatened to disqualify him. Afterwards,
Jericho placed Michaels in the corner, HBK was sitting down up against the turnbuckle. Jericho
then got some distance from Michaels, then ran back up to him nailing him with a running boot
to the face while Michaels was still sitting. Michaels seemed to be 'out of it' afterwards. Jericho
then dragged Michaels to the center of the ring and went for the pin-fall cover: "1, 2, --" Michaels
unbelievably kicked out! Jericho was frustrated, but then attempted "The Lionsault" from the ropes to put Michaels out for good. Michaels moved out of the way just in time, as Jericho now landed face first on the mat. Jericho was a bit hurt from the miss, but stood back up rather quickly. When Jericho stood up, though, he was nailed by Shawn Michaels' "Sweet Chin Music" Super-kick. Michaels was still a bit dazed, but he slowly made his way to the corner and climbed the top of
the turnbuckle. Michaels attempted the Diving Elbow Drop to Jericho, but as soon as Michaels leaped, Jericho moved out of the way. Michaels was hurt from the fall that was a no-go. As soon as Michaels stood up again, Jericho rushed up to him and nailed him with "The Code Breaker."
Jericho wasted no time afterwards as he pinned Shawn Michaels: "1, 2, 3!"
Michael Cole: Now that is what I call "Putting on a wrestling clinic!"
What a classic match by both competitors! Jericho certainly showed everyone why he's the
World Heavyweight Champion!
King: You said it, Cole! This match was so great...I'm speechless,
haha.
Segment 7
Jericho left the ring and made his way up the ramp while celebrating with the title. Jericho lifted
his title in the air in victory.......Suddenly, the arena went pitch black...The Undertaker's entrance
music hit afterwards.
Michael Cole: Uh-oh.
King: "Uh-oh" is right!
The arena lightened back up a bit as Undertaker walked down the stage ramp. Jericho was The
Undertaker's first target at that moment. Taker gave Jericho a big boot to the face when he approached
the champ and nearly took his head off. Taker then started dragging Jericho back to the ringside.
Afterwards, Taker slammed Jericho's face against the ring pole, then lifted him up and tossed him
out into the crowd. Undertaker then looked inside the ring at a battered Shawn Michaels. He set
his sights on his Armageddon opponent then. Taker entered the ring, and picked Michaels up, laying
him out with "The Tombstone Piledriver."
Michael Cole: Come on! HBK can't even defend himself, stop this
massacre already!
The Undertaker then picked up Michaels and tossed him outside of the ring, but wasn't done
with him yet. Taker dragged Michaels up all the way to the stage, then took him near the edge
of it.
Michael Cole: No, Taker! Don't do what I think you're going to do!!!
The Undertaker was about to toss HBK off of the stage. Suddenly, John Cena appeared as a
savior to Michaels. Cena tried to defend HBK by attacking The Undertaker. Taker, however, wasn't
effected much by Cena, and retaliated by knocking Cena down with a right-hook. Taker then picked
Cena up, and placed him near the edge of the stage. Undertaker then choke-slammed Cena off
of the stage! Cena fell at approximately fifteen feet and was unconscious afterwards. Paramedics and medical staff rushed to Cena immediately, while Undertaker stood there and stared at Cena
with apathy as Raw went off the air.
Quick match results:
1) Hardcore Championship - Kane (c) vs. Randy Orton: Draw
2) John Morrison defeated Kofi Kingston
3) Intercontinetal Championship: JBL defeated Matt Hardy via DQ (Hardy Retains)
4) Hardcore Holly defeated Shelton Benjamin
5) Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Michaels _________________

Does this mean a heel Undertaker? He acted heel-ish last week, but this made him seem like a 100% official heel. Good move, IMO. Not many, if any, diaries currently running have a heel Undertaker.
The way you're using Haas is certainly... different. I'll keep an eye on it.
