Ya know, one of the movies that scared me to death was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Guess it was 'cause it was based on a true story lol. _________________
Nah, he's pretty normal actually lol. I remember reading in my English school book last year that he lead a rather normal life...and it disappointed people hehe. _________________
The mist is a pretty freaky film...has a few parts that will make you look away and is a bit disturbing aswell but what else would you expect of an adaptation from a stephen king novel.lol _________________
The Exorcist {>_O I've seen soo many horror movies and this one is defientely the scariest fucking thing I have ever seen}
Texas Chainsaw Massacre {Just great suspense! James Rolfe once said "Going through the movie is like havng a nightmare! The tension just builds up" I completely agree with him, I love this movie just for the tension and having an old atmosphere helps, every frame in that movie is absolutley perfect}
The Poltergeist{Movie is scary as hell, and just the fact that pretty much every single cast member were all killed in the most craziest ways after production ending just adds to how fucking creepy this film really was}
Though they're both two of my favorite movies of all time! I love horror movies with a passion! And Sapp TCM wasn't really based off of a 'true' story(like that whole family actually existed) it was based on serial killer Ed Gene {same guy the movie Pyscho was based on (which is the first movie that had a realistic stabbing scene, and actually made people afraid of getting stabbed to death in the shower} Ed was a famous serial killer who killed his victims in the most brutal ways, hes ot like Leatherface at all.
BTW It fucking sucked and was completely inferior to the book. That clown is pretty scary on the same level as Freddy Krueger but in my opinion they're both comedic characters and Freddy's very entertaining to watch. But just the idea of both of them is just scary.
Ah, I'm glad someone else agrees with me about Texas Chainsaw Massacre lol. I forgot to mention, it was Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning was the one that scared me more than the 2004 version. _________________

Ed Gein is also the inspiration for Slayer's song "Dead Skin Mask". He made himself a necklace out of nipples and a belt out of intestines of his victims. He also ate them. He did in fact , though, use the skin of his victims to create a mask that looked like his mother, so that he could act like her.
I have an odd fascination with serial killers.
In regards to movies, I haven't seen too many that scared me, but my favourite series has to be the Halloween series.

Speaking of Ed Gein...I was his auto-bio movie a little while back...Was kinda boring IMO. _________________
Dude that movie was fucking horrible >_O Mainly because I hate movie's where everyone dies at the end >.> unless its done in a tastweful manner. Ending was ridiculous too, did LeatherFace teleport?
There's also Cannibal Holocaust, to be honest this movie is fucking horrible but if you ever see it you will be scarred for life. In ways it's a masterpiece and in most ways its the worst movie ever. The acting in some scenes has yet to be topped by any movie to date! But overall the whole idea is just unbelievable and who's stupid enough too actually do this shit in real life?
It's about some American team who find some tape with a cannibalistic tribe devouring people! These people are so fucked up that they go too find the tribe just too mess with them. They go with the intentions of starting a war and as soon as they meet this peaceful tribe the first thing they do is burn all they're houses down. This of course pisses off the tribe, then it's war! Now this is the crazy part who the fuck is that retarded to do something like that your basically just asking for death!
Now filmaker Ruggero Deodato wanted these movies death scenes too be as realistic as possible. The American's need to hunt for food while they're hiding from the cannibals, what Ruggero has them do is unforgivable. He actually took REAL LIFE INNOCENT ANIMALS and forced the cast members too kill them for this shitty film (the beginning diclaimer of the movie even says "No humans were hurt in the making of this film, animals however were") And these actors actually had the balls to do it, and drag some random turtle out of the water, chop his head off(and when a turtle gets his head chopped off it still can move for a few minutes), so they chop it's head off and even after death the turtle tries to kick the knife away, then this ballsy actor rips open the turtle's shell with the knife and eats the insides of the turtle. Too make this scene more insane there's this guy in the corner going crazy filming all this (and not just filming hes out of his fucking mind =l ) and the girl is puking in the corner for obvious reasons.
Yea show me a movie that tops that shit =o And yea Gein was fucking crazy, didn't know about that skin mask thing though (learn something new everyday =O). But only the first two Halloween movies were good, the rest sucked ass. My favorite movie serial killer would have too be Hannibal Lecter! He's just genious and Anthony Hopkins does a fantastic job at playing him too! Hopkins has the perfect voice and looks too be an actual serial killer
